Ebble Group are a group of companies dedicated to the world of Plasma and Corona Surface Treatments and allied technologies.
Working primarily in the UK and Ireland, our business is to supply machinery from our Danish manufacturing site as well as offer subcontract plasma treatment and subcontract corona treatment alongside manufacturing processes supported by these technologies such as bonding, printing and assembly.
The focus for the majority of these systems is surface treatment and improving materials through changing surface energy and surface finish. These processes have a number of uses but their most common is to improve adhesion.
Adhesion improvements are most commonly improved bonding for adhesives, glues and tapes or printing inks, coatings and paints. Other properties useful with plasma treatment include wetting and flow of liquids such as even spreading for coatings or liquid flow within medical devices.
Our factory has been manufacturing these systems since 1974, alongside a range of other technologies we offer including Ozone Treatment, Ozone Extraction and Filtration, Electrical Leak Detection, Contact Angle Meters, Adhesion Testers and Dyne Pens and Dyne Inks.

Ebble Group was founded by Chris Howey with an aim of bringing together a number of products, services and ideas to the UK and Irish markets with a focus on surface treatments.
Having worked within the Plasma and Corona Surface Treatment world since the start of his career, and following on from studying Chemistry through education; offering a scientific, methodical and technical approach to the equipment and processes surrounding Plasma and Corona made sense.
Alongside Ebble Group, Tantec A/S manufacturing Plasma and Corona treatment systems since 1974 are key to operations. Their range of standard systems such as the PlasmaTEC and VacuTEC ranges are quickly delivered to companies globally, and their engineered products such as LeakTEC, FoamTEC and SheetTEC are unrivalled in their quality and technical ability. Working closely with the Danish manufacturing site, Ebble are able to offer both responsive and extensive products and services to the UK and Irish customers we work closely with, but also support further afield with nearly 40 technical partners around the world to support with equipment.
